The Pygmies are creatures in the Underground Jungle first seen in comic #256. They accidentally almost boiled Maxx and Cyril alive when Maxx, not knowing how to speak in their language, said "Our silly, crazy king [small, fruit-eating bat] prepare a bath for eighteen moons and make it torch hot! And continue torches for sacred gold! Bring two [hunting cry]!" All known Pygmies are now dead, because June killed them all in comic #260, without any good reason (there might still be other tribes that June did not kill).

Culture[]

In comic #245, Cyril tells that pygmies used gold only for building and not for trading. In comic #243, it's shown that pygmies used signs as path markers.

Religion[]

In comic #243, Cyril tells that pygmies worshipped dryads as gods and goddesses of nature.

Trivia[]

  • Pygmies in Legend of Maxx don't look like the pygmies in Terraria, because the comic where the pygmies first appeared was published before the update which added pygmies to Terraria.
